Till 2018 the prize “INCLUSIA” has been announced in Austria and its surrounding countries. The submitted projects have been assessed by an independent jury. Since 2019 the winners are drawn by chance. Legal recourse is excluded.

INCLUSIA 2026

INCLUSIA 2026– a unique event. Pupils without handicap and people with handicap will meet in Klagenfurt, Austria to establish new friendships and to take part in this unique festival. INCLUSIA 2026 will be organised for the 22th time from March 24 to 26, 2026.

People with handicap from the Alps-Adriatic-Region and pupils from school classes of Klagenfurt, Austria will actively take part in INCLUSIA 2026. In many cases social ties between people with handicap and pupils continued to exist until now.

During INCLUSIA 2026 we will live and learn what is meant by “inclusion” – “everybody, no matter what their differences are, to be seen as enrichment and part of the community”. We all have our strengths and abilities! Especially people with special needs can show us a lot. The sparks will fly! Guaranteed!

What is inclusion? Simple: to recognize everyone, no matter whom or what they are. To see people with handicap as part of the community and to appreciate the differences in personalities.

People with handicap are equal and valuable members of our society. Every person is part of our community whether they have special needs or not. The difference is on what level they meet.
